I'm Brandon Peña, a product designer and ecommerce partner based in New York City. I work with brands, startups, and studios who want more than execution. They want a designer who understands the business behind the pixels.
My background is unconventional. Before design, I spent years in customer-facing and operational roles across healthcare and sports marketing, where I watched people struggle through systems that should have been simple. That experience didn't just teach me empathy. It gave me a sharp eye for where products lose people, and how to fix it.
WHO
Experience
I've led design across ecommerce, marketing, and product, with deep hands-on experience building Shopify storefronts, improving conversion performance, and crafting digital experiences that actually move revenue. Before design, I managed high-volume client operations in healthcare and drove digital marketing initiatives in the sports industry. Those roles trained me to think beyond aesthetics and ask the harder question: does this work for the person using it?
That operational perspective is what separates the work I deliver from purely visual design.
APPROACH
I design for clarity, performance, and trust. Every project starts with understanding the business goal and the real friction users face, then building toward both at once. I collaborate closely with product, marketing, and development teams and show up as a partner invested in outcomes, not just deliverables. I iterate fast, communicate clearly, and stay focused on what actually matters: results you can measure.
